India A Beat Oman by Six Wickets to Enter ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars Semi-Finals

India A Beat Oman by Six Wickets to Enter ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars Semi-FinalsIndia A earned a comfortable six-wicket win over Oman in the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship after a strong team effort with the ball and an unbeaten fifty from Harsh Dubey. This victory also confirmed their place in the semi-finals, where they will join Pakistan Shaheens at the same venue on Friday.

Oman batted first and scored 135/7 in 20 overs, mainly because of Wasim Ali’s steady half-century. He remained unbeaten on 54 from 45 balls, hitting five fours and one six. Apart from him, only captain Hammad Mirza made a good impact with a fast 32 off 16 balls. Narayan Saishiv (16) and Karan Sonavale (12) were the only other players to reach double digits against India’s tight and controlled bowling.

Suyash Sharma was the best bowler for India A, giving away only 12 runs and taking 2 wickets in his four overs. Gurjapneet Singh also took two wickets but was a bit costly, giving 37 runs. Vijaykumar Vyshak, Naman Dhir and Harsh Dubey supported well by taking one wicket each.

Match-Winning Fifty From Dubey

While chasing 136, India A reached the target easily with four wickets in hand and 13 balls left, thanks to Dubey’s strong innings. He came in to bat at No.4 when the team was 37/2 in 4.2 overs after both openers, Priyansh Arya (10) and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (12), got out one after the other. From there, he took control of the chase and guided the team forward.

He played a calm and smart innings, reaching a well-earned fifty and finishing on an unbeaten 53 from 44 balls, hitting seven fours and one six. Dubey also built important partnerships with Naman Dhir, who scored 30, and Nehal Wadhera, who added 23. For Oman, Aryan Bisht, Samay Shrivastava, Shafiq Jan and Jay Odedra each took one wicket.
