South Africa won the Super 8 match against India by 76 runs in the T20 World Cup 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In another Super 8 match, England began on a positive note by beating Sri Lanka by 51 runs. With this victory, England is now at the top of Group 2 with a net run rate of 2.550.

It was a difficult beginning for India in the Super 8 round. South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first. They lost a few initial wickets, but David Miller and Dewald Brevis helped them recover and score a good total.

India faced problems from the start of their innings. They lost wickets one by one, and the required run rate kept increasing. Eventually, India could not even come close to the target. This Super 8 points table has been affected by the match between India and South Africa.
