BCCI Calls KL Rahul for ODI Series Against England
KL Rahul was likely rested and miss the ODI series against England because everyone thought. His spot in the ICC Champions Trophy team for India was safe but then, the team leaders seemed to have a change decision now and they told him he needs to play. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided that he's going to join the upcoming series. It was a major surprise because at first, it looked like he was going to rest.
BCCI is eager for KL Rahul to participate in the ODI series against England
KL Rahul might be going onto the field sooner than he thought. Rahul thought he was going to rested after playing it in the Test series against Australia but now, according to The Times of India says, the BCCI wants him to play in the three match ODI series that begins on February 3. Because, Rahul rested playing for Karnataka in the Vijay Hazare Trophy knockout matches because he was tired after the tough Border Gavaskar Trophy saying he needed a break.
However, it looks like the ODI series against England is significantly important, since it's a good preparation for the 2025 Champions Trophy, and the team management thinks Rahul should play the series.
