Aakash Chopra Predicts Rishabh Pant's IPL 2025 Auction Price Could Reach INR 25-30 Crore

Aakash Chopra has speculated that Rishabh Pant could command a staggering price in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He highlighted that major franchises like Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Mumbai Indians (MI) are likely to pursue him.

With the deadline for retention lists set for October 31, reports suggest that Delhi Capitals may release Pant. Chopra noted that despite Pant's less impressive T20 statistics, his market value could explode if he enters the auction.

"RCB would need him back, Delhi would want him too. KKR is in the market for his services, and if Ishan Kishan is unavailable, MI might also consider him," Chopra remarked. He estimates Pant's auction price could range from INR 25 to 30 crore, with all teams except Rajasthan Royals showing interest. Gujarat Titans, lacking a wicketkeeper, could also vie for him.

In IPL 2024, Pant scored 446 runs in 13 innings, boasting a strike rate of 155.40.
