WBBL Team
The Hobart Hurricanes Women's cricket team is a professional team in Australia's Women's Big Bash League (WBBL). They have not won the championship but have made four finals appearances, although they have also finished last three times and received three "wooden spoons". The team has had some notable players, including the all-time leading run-scorer Nicola Carey. In the final held in Hobart on December 13, 2025, The Hobart Hurricanes secured their first WBBL championship in their history by defeating the Perth Scorchers in the WBBL 2025 final.
