Steve Taylor’s Bio

From a young age, Steven Taylor was recognized for his immense talent. Consequently, he made his full U.S. Senior debut at just 15 years old. Taylor is a tall, powerfully built opening batsman who thrives on boundary-hitting, particularly in the region between square leg and
cover. He was the team’s part-time wicket-keeper for several seasons, but has since transitioned into a more than capable off-spin bowler. Taylor’s importance to the team is undeniable. His ability to score big hundreds at a blistering pace effectively takes the game away from the opposition. In more recent times, he has taken on the added responsibility of team captain. In 2017, Taylor became the highest paid franchise cricketer in U.S. history when the Guyana Amazon Warriors secured his services for $30,000 in the CPL draft.
