Rinku Singh: A rising star in cricket and IPL, inspiring Aligarh youth

Rinku Singh, a left-handed batsman from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, is the first player from Aligarh to play in the IPL. He is known for his impressive performance in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, where he was the leading run-scorer for Uttar Pradesh. Singh has played for various domestic and IPL franchises, including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Kings, Services, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rest of India, India A, and Central Zone. He has also represented India at the international level, making his ODI debut in 2023 against South Africa. Singh’s aggressive nature on the field has earned him the nickname “Rinku.”
