David Payne
David Payne is an English left-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed batter, born on February 15, 1991. He is a stalwart for Gloucestershire, where he holds the record for the most white-ball wickets for the county, and has played for England, the England Lions, and various T20 franchises like Welsh Fire, Perth Scorchers, and Desert Vipers. In addition to his playing career, Payne also serves as the fast-bowling coach for Gloucestershire's women's team and is the club's PCA representative.
For the IPL 2026 season, David Payne has joined Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as an injury replacement for Australian all-rounder Jack Edwards, who was ruled out due to a foot injury.
