
The PCB will pay an additional USD 100,000 to six top foreign players in the PSL
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) features six top-rated international cricket players. The heads are in the PCB, are going to give each of those players an extra 100,000 dollars just to make sure they play in it. They have a special savings fund, which now holds a total of one million dollars!
In the PSL, when they picked players, the heads in charge said the most money they would pay players from other countries was $200,000. But they have more money they can get top rate players. There is David Warner, and he will join a team and they will pay him $300,000. A source familiar with the PSL stated that the PCB will cover $100,000 of the amount.
The official explained that a few years ago, the PSL governing council decided that when the central pool’s net broadcast revenue reached 3 billion rupees, USD 500,000 would be allocated annually for elite players’ salaries.
Some cricket players from different contries didn't get picked to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). But they picked to join the Pakistan Super League (PSL 10) . Great players such as David Warner, Daryl Mitchell, and Kane Williamson are in it. There's also Finn Allen, Matty Short, Sean Abbott, and several others. Nahid Rana, Liton Das, and even Michael Bracewell are playing, and Rassie van der Dussen and Corbin Bosch. They are all part of the PSL .
The PSL will happen the same time as the IPL this year. Both of the games will be going on at the same time for a little while. The PSL games start on April 17 and end on May 22. The IPL games start on March 21 and end at the end of May. This is the first time it has occurred this way.
Before, in the PSL, Kieron Pollard is the highest paid player. Pollard got 250,000 dollars. AB de Villiers also earned a large amount of money, 230,000 dollars. But now, there's a new plan. They want top rate cricket players to come play even when it's the same time as IPL.
