The game between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) held at Ekana Stadium was an thrilling encounter, ending up with victory for KKR in the Super Over.
Mohsin Khan bowled extremely well, taking five wickets, and KKR was in huge trouble at 93/7. However, it was Rinku Singh who performed an excellent batting display. He smashed 83 not out in 51 balls and struck four consecutive sixes in the final over, taking KKR to 155.

LSG scored 155 runs as well, leading the game into the Super Over. In the Super Over, Sunil Narine bowled incredibly well, giving away just one run and two wickets. Later, Rinku Singh struck a boundary on the very first ball, ending the game. This victory holds huge significance for KKR because they have climbed to eighth position. After that, LSG dropped down to the tenth spot following their defeat.
