India 2026-27 Schedule Announced, Zimbabwe Back After 25 Years in India

The BCCI has announced the home schedule for the Indian cricket team for the 2026/27 season. The teams like the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia will tour India during this time.

The tour of the Zimbabwe cricket team is very special, as the team will play the ODI series in India for the first time in 2002 after 24 years. The total of 22 games will be played in 17 venues across India between September and February.

India Cricket Team 2026/27 Schedule Announced

The Indian team will start the season by playing against the Afghanistan cricket team in a Test match and three ODI matches. The Indian cricket team will then tour Ireland to play T20 cricket. The Indian cricket team will then tour England to play T20 and ODI cricket.

The Indian team will return home and will host the West Indies. This series will start on September 27. This series will have three ODIs and five T20s. In December, India will host Sri Lanka for three ODIs and three T20s.

India is scheduled to host Zimbabwe in January 2027 in an ODI series. After this series, India is scheduled to host Australia in a long test series. This test series is scheduled to begin on January 21, 2027. This test series is scheduled to have five test matches.
