How to buy tickets for T20 World Cup 2026 semifinal and final?
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will release tickets for the T20 World Cup 2026 semifinal and final on February 24 at 7 PM IST. But fans may feel confused about buying them. Since the teams are not confirmed yet, they won’t know where the matches will actually be played. Only Mumbai is confirmed as the host for the second semifinal.
The first semifinal could take place at either of two venues, and the same goes for the final. One wonders what the use of pre-seeding is if the ICC can’t even confirm the venue of a game that’ll happen in less than 2 weeks.
The first semifinal will be played in Colombo if Pakistan qualify, or if Sri Lanka national cricket team qualify and do not have to face India. If neither of these happens, the match will be held in Kolkata.
The final will take place in Colombo if Pakistan national cricket team qualify. If they do not qualify, then Ahmedabad will host the final.
