Australia Retains Squad for Adelaide Test Amidst Concerns Over Mitchell Marsh's Fitness

In the aftermath of a crushing 295-run defeat by India in Perth, Australia's cricket team is opting for stability as they head into the second Test in Adelaide. Head coach and selector Andrew McDonald has confirmed that the squad will remain unchanged, despite lingering concerns about all-rounder Mitchell Marsh's fitness.

The 13-player squad, which features reserve batsman Josh Inglis and backup fast bowler Scott Boland, will regroup in Adelaide. McDonald, however, has refrained from committing to the same playing XI that underperformed in Perth, suggesting possible strategic adjustments. Having bowled just four overs in total over the past eight months, his fitness remains under scrutiny. "We'll wait and see," McDonald commented cautiously when asked about Marsh's condition.

Despite the criticism, McDonald defended the team's depth in bowling options, asserting that Marsh's fitness did not impact their performance in Perth. "No, we didn't feel that
