Alzarri Joseph is a West Indies fast-bowling all-rounder, known for his express pace and aggressive bowling style. He was a key member of the victorious West Indies U19 team in 2016, and debuted internationally that year. In 2025, despite having a strong career, he faced challenges such as being unsold at the 2025 IPL auction and a temporary suspension for an on-field incident in late 2024.

On 6 April 2019, Joseph made his IPL debut against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and took the figures of 6/12, the best bowling figures for a debutant in the IPL.

In his teens Joesph gained a reputation as one of the fastest bowlers on the school circuit, which carried over into the 2016 Under-19 World Cup, where he bowled the competition’s fastest delivery, a 147kph zinger that broke Zimbabwe batter Brendan Sly’s stumps.
