RCB’s Sophie Molineux Ruled Out of WPL 2025 Due to Knee Injury; Charlie Dean Announced as Replacement
The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 is going to kick off soon, but the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has some really bad news. Sophie Molineux, who is a talented all-rounder from Australia, cannot play this season because she injured her knee. Molineux was very important to the team when they won the WPL finals, so it's a really big setback for RCB.
Sophie Molineux is a top-rate player who is the left-hand bowler. Molineux played an important role in her team last season. Molineux played in 10 games and helped the team get 12 players out. When the RCB team won the finals against Delhi, she got 3 wickets with her brilliant bowling. But after they played games against India, she was injured.
Even though everybody hoped she would recover quickly, she couldn't play in time for the next important set of games. The RCB team will miss her very much because she knows how to play and win games. It's going to be hard for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) without her now.
