The IPL auction for 2026 is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16, with a total of 359 players being auctioned off. To account for all of the excitement about this auction, Ashwin held his own "mock auction" using the information that he had about the players. Although there were a number of surprises, most of the results from Ashwin's mock auction were similar to what is expected.

CSK Team acquired Cameron Green for a price of twenty-one crore, making him the most expensive purchase in Ashwin's mock auction. Kolkata also placed bids for Green, but ultimately the CSK will secure the Australian all-rounder Green. The full list of Ashwin's IPL 2026 mock auction is provided below.
