IPL 2026: Most Runs & Wickets Update as Jurel and Suryavanshi Shine in RR’s Win Over RCB

The match in Guwahati was one of excitement. The Rajasthan Royals won another match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2026, winning by 6 wickets.

In reply to 202 runs, Rajasthan looked to be cruising to victory. The young and fearless Vaibhav Sooryavanshi showed exceptional batting prowess. Playing at the age of only 15 years, he played with aggression and scored 78 runs off just 26 balls, hitting seven sixes and achieving his fifty off just 15 balls. This was indeed a remarkable innings that completely turned the game around.

While Dhruv Jurel backed up his young teammate well, playing a mature innings and making 81 not out off 43 balls. Both players together scored a quickfire partnership of 108 runs and took control of the game. They won the match for Rajasthan Royals, which ended with two overs remaining.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru started poorly, losing wickets early in the innings. Captain Rajat Patidar stabilized the innings and made 63 runs, while Venkatesh Iyer made some late runs. They scored 201/8 runs in total.

This win allowed Rajasthan Royals to remain at the top of the table, whereas Royal Challengers Bengaluru faced their first defeat of the season.
