England Central Contracts 2025–26: Full List of 30 Players Announced by ECB

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released the new list of Central Contracts for England men’s cricket. A total of 30 players have been given contracts, 14 for two years, 12 for one year, and 4 development contracts.

Five players, Sonny Baker, Liam Dawson, Saqib Mahmood, Jamie Overton, and Luke Wood, have received central contracts for the first time. Also, Eddie Jack, Tom Lawes, and Mitchell Stanley have joined the Development Contracts list for the first time, along with Josh Hull.

The Central Contract system, which covers both red-ball and white-ball cricket, takes into account the likelihood of players featuring in England teams across formats during the upcoming period, while also recognising performances over the past year.
