WPL : Purple Cap Leaderboard
It had been an amazing time for women's cricket in the past two and half weeks in the world's biggest franchise cricket league. We have witnessed some exciting bowling performances, and the purple cap leaderboard is changing every day. The Third season of the WPL started with the opening match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Giants on 14 February. In the first few matches, we saw high scores and batters taking the upper hand, but as the tournament progressed, we witnessed an increasing number of low-scoring matches, with bowlers, especially spinners, dominating.
There has been a change in the standings of the Purple Cap leaderboard over the last few matches, but the top trio is the same except for a change in their position.
RCB’s Renuka Singh is wearing the purple cap in the WPL 2025 after 14 matches, followed by her teammate Georgia Wareham and DC’s Jess Jonassen.
