WPL 2026 Playoff Scenarios After RCB vs DC: RCB Qualified, Four Teams in Race

by K D Mishra

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 is now close to the playoff stage. All 16 league matches have been played, and only four matches are left. Right now, only one team has confirmed a place in the playoffs: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). They are at the top of the table with 10 points from seven matches.

Mumbai Indians (MI), who are the defending champions, moved to second place after beating RCB. They now have six points, but they have played one more match than the teams below them, which makes their position a little unsafe.

Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Giants (GG) also have six points, but they have played only six matches. This gives them a better chance to reach the playoffs. UP Warriorz (UPW) have four points. Their chances are low, but they can still qualify if they win their last two matches by big margins.
