WPL 2025: Match Schedule, Team Captains, Broadcast Details & Key Player Updates

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is set to kick off on February 14. The first match of this third edition is between the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Giants. For the first time, the tournament will be played across four venues.
The Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara and the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will host WPL matches for the first time. The other venues are the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

In the UP Warriorz and Mumbai Indians, Key players like Sophie Devine, Alyssa Healy, and others are missing out this season. UP Warriorz named their new captain Deepti Sharma.
India’s U19 stars, including Niki Prasad and Parunika Sisodia, will also join the tournament. Sarah Bryce will play for the WPL, while Ash Gardener is now the Gujarat Giants’ new captain.
