The Women's Premier League season 3 (WPL 2025) is all set to make a roar in Indian households and among all the women cricket fans around the world. After the tremendous success of the last two seasons, the Women's Premier League 2025 is coming back even stronger, where we will see top women players from around the world in action playing in India. This article will discuss all the WPL teams and their squads for the upcoming season.
Tournament Overview
The third season of the Women's Premier League 2025 will last over a month, starting on February 14th and ending on March 15th. The tournament will use a double round-robin format, with all teams competing against each other twice. Matches will take place at four venues across the country: Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
There will be 20 league matches and two playoff games. The team that finishes in first place after the league stage will directly secure the final spot, while the teams in second and third place will compete in an eliminator game for the final qualification. Each team can include up to four overseas players in its playing XI, with an additional slot available for a player from an associate nation.
