Vinod Kambli Rushed to the Hospital After Sudden Health Issues; Former Cricketer in Critical Condition

Vinod Kambli, who used to play cricket for India, ended up in the hospital last Saturday night because he wasn't feeling well. Lately, he's been dealing with a substantial amount of health problems, the last time anyone saw him out was when he was at Shivaji Park in Mumbai for the reveal of a statue for his coach, Ramakant Achrekar.
Reports from IANS confirmed that Kambli is currently admitted to Akriti Hospital in Thane. The 52-year-old is in a stable condition, though his health remains critical. Further details about his condition are yet to be revealed.
Kambli noted how last month he had a very bad health problem with his urine that caused him to visit the hospital. Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar, who were amazing cricketers from the team that won the 1983 World Cup, said they supported Kambli; they even said they would help him improve and recommended rehab.

"I couldn't control the flow of urine. My son Jesus Cristiano helped me stand up, and my wife and 10-year-old daughter rushed to assist me. My head started spinning, and I collapsed. The doctor advised me to get admitted," Kambli said in an interview on Vicky Lalwani's YouTube channel.
He also shared details about his health scare, explaining how his family supported him during the difficult time. Kambli revealed that he underwent two heart surgeries in 2013, with financial help from his close friend and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Kambli hit four centuries in tests, and he even obtained two double centuries one right after the other. Kambli was the first player from India to do that. Over his nine years playing for India, he was in 17 tests and 104 ODIs.
