Kashi Rudras Clinch Second Title in Style
At no point did they let the Mavericks batters get away. There was a fight from Prashant Chaudhary who scored 37 but apart from him there was no major contribution. The 144 set by Mavericks looked under par and it proved to be that way. The Rudras batters stormed behind the target as both openers came out positively. Especially captain Karan Sharma who just switched a different beast mode for this all-important final. He made a match defining 65 in only 31 balls to steal it for his side. Abhishek Goswami was the perfect anchor to the flamboyant shots from the other end. He too brought up a magnificent 57.
Thanks to the brilliant opening partnership of 108, Kashi Rudras chased the total down in just 15.4 overs with eight wickets in hands. Mavericks who were the defending champions just didn't step up to the occasion this time around and would have to settle for 2nd. It's time to let the dances free for the ones supporting Kashi as your team has now given you a massive moment of glory. The young boys will break bottles open and play songs all night and they deserve every bit off it.
