Today, in this article, we're discussing the top 5 uncapped Indian bowlers who have impressed everyone in the IPL 2025.
R Sai Kishore
The first bowler on the list is Gujarat Titans' R Sai Kishore, who bowled exceptionally well for his team during the season. Kishore, the left-arm orthodox spinner from Tamil Nadu, put the batters on the back foot with his precise and controlled bowling. Sai Kishore, who has also bowled exceptionally in domestic cricket with over 350 wickets, joined the Gujarat Titans' bowling attack in 2022. He was the team's prime wicket-taker during the middle overs of the season. Sai Kishore performed so well that he overshadowed Rashid Khan, who is regarded as one of the best leg spinners in the season. In the 15 matches played, Sai took 19 wickets with an economy of 9.24 and an average of 20.68 in this season.
Vaibhav Arora
The next bowler on the list is Kolkata Knight Riders' young pacer Vaibhav Arora. Vaibhav, a fast medium pacer from Himachal Pradesh has performed very well for KKR with his ability to swing the new ball. In the matches played this season, Vaibhav took 17 wickets with an economy of 10.1 and an average of 25.29.
Digvesh Rathi
The next bowler to make our list is a well-known name in IPL 2025, Digvesh Rathi, the young spinner from Delhi playing for Lucknow Super Giants this season. He has become a well-known player for both good reasons and not-so-good reasons. Whether it's his involvement in verbal fights with other players or his not-so-appropriate celebrations after taking wickets, which have led to multiple fines and even one match suspension due to his derogatory behaviour. However, on the bowling side, Digvijay performed well for the team, becoming the highest wicket-taker of the season with 14 wickets in 13 matches, at an economy of 8.25 and an average of 30.64.
Yash Dayal
Yash Dayal, the young pacer from Royal Challengers Bengaluru, also performed well this season with good line and length, as well as the ability to swing the ball. The left-arm fast medium pacer, who RCB signed for the season, has been a reliable bowler for the team, delivering effective spells in the death overs. Alongside Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal has been one of the key players in RCB's pace attack this season. In the 15 matches played, Yash took 12 wickets at an economy of 9.74 and an average of 38.16.
Vipraj Nigam
The last player in our list is Vipraj Nigam of Delhi Capitals. Vipraj, the 20-year-old leg spinner from Uttar Pradesh, has been one of the key spinners in the Delhi Capitals' spin bowling lineup alongside Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. Though he has made the most impact as a bowler, his ability to be a striker at the end of the innings also makes him an even more important player. It was Vipraj Nigam in a few of the early Delhi Capitals matches where he rescued the team with his bowling or batting. In the 14 matches played this season, he took a total of 11 wickets at an economy rate of 12 and an average of 32.36.
