Sriram Sridharan Appointed Assistant Bowling Coach of Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2025
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have brought in Sriram Sridharan as their assistant bowling coach for IPL 2025. He will work alongside head coach Stephen Fleming and bowling coach Eric Simmons as part of the team's support staff for the upcoming season.
Sridharan Sriram is a former Indian cricketer from Tamil Nadu who played eight One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for India. As a batsman, he scored 81 runs, and as a left-arm spinner, he took nine wickets. After retiring from cricket, he worked as a spin-bowling coach and consultant for the Australian team for a few years. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he was an assistant coach for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the last season.

Chennai Super Kings will begin their IPL 2025 campaign on March 23 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, facing their biggest rivals, Mumbai Indians, in a high-voltage opener. With Sriram guiding the spinners and Simons bringing his expertise in pace bowling, CSK’s new coaching setup could play a key role in their quest for a sixth IPL title.
