Sameer Rizvi Shines in Under-23 One Day State A Tournament with Back-to-Back Double Centuries

Sameer Rizvi, the man leading Uttar Pradesh, is seriously performing well in the Under-23 One Day State A Tournament. Rizvi scored a huge 728 runs from just six games, with those numbers including an amazing 52 fours and 64 sixes. Even though he wasn’t selected for Uttar Pradesh’s Vijay Hazare Trophy lineup, he's showing them what they're missing out on by hitting his second double-century in very little time.
During a tough game on Wednesday in Vadodara against Vidarbha, where the target was to get 407 runs, Rizvi truly tried hard. He came in to bat at No. 4 when it was the 13th over and teamed up with the wicketkeeper; together, they created a wonderful 296-run partnership in just 173 balls that didn't break. Rizvi was the star, scoring an incredible 202 not out off 105 balls, including 10 fours and 18 sixes, while Siddiqui also played well, adding 91 runs off 68 balls.
Back-to-Back Double Centuries: Rizvi’s Unstoppable Form
Before all of this, Rizvi had scored hundreds of runs in games against Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh one after the other; then just four days before his latest major match, he defeated the Tripura U-23 bowlers with a great display of skill. He scored an unbeaten 201 off 97 balls in that match, which included hitting 20 balls over the boundary for six runs each and 13 fours. It was the quickest double-century ever in the tournament.
Take a bow, Sameer Rizvi......!!!!!!!

Rizvi, who's 21, did very well for Uttar Pradesh in the U-23 tournament, being different. He mastered it in the final last year, scoring a fast 83 off just 50 balls, and that was key for UP to win the trophy. However, events haven't been great for him lately. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season, he only scored a total of 136 runs across eight games, which is not a lot; and then, he didn't even get picked for the Vijay Hazare Trophy group.
