Ireland Women’s cricket team has reached South Africa and started training in Cape Town. Their six-match white-ball tour will begin on Friday, December 5. Both teams will play three T20Is and three ODIs. The two teams last met in Dublin in 2022 for a six-match white-ball series. Ireland Women last played in South Africa during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023.

Ireland Women have had a strong 2025 so far. They played 22 international matches and won 15 of them. This tour will help them prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier next month. The tour also comes one month after South Africa Women reached the ICC Women’s World Cup Final, where they lost to India Women.
