Rohit Sharma Back to No. 1, Sikandar Raza Makes New Record

Raza has been in strong form in the ongoing tri-series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. He has scored 141 runs in four innings, with a strike rate of 136.89 and an average of 47.00, helping him achieve his best-ever T20I all-rounder ranking.

Rohit Sharma has moved back to the No. 1 spot in the ODI batting rankings. He went ahead of New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, who missed the last two matches of the ODI series against the West Indies. Because he didn’t play, Mitchell lost some rating points, which helped Rohit take the top position.

Rohit now has 781 rating points, putting him at the top of the list. Mitchell is in second place with 766 points. West Indies star Shai Hope is at eighth place with 701 points. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill have kept their places in the latest ODI rankings. Kohli is still at 5th, while captain Gill remains at 4th.

In the T20I rankings, Abhishek Sharma continues to hold the No. 1 spot with 920 points. England’s Phil Salt is still at No. 2. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan has made a big jump, moving up eight places to reach 4th with 776 points.

After India’s disappointing loss to South Africa in the Test match, they will now face the Proteas in the ODI series. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will return to the field for the Men in Blue in these upcoming games.
