PSL 2026: Points Table, Most Runs, & Most Wickets after Hyderabad break into top four
It was a happening double-header day in the PSL. Ali Raza became the youngest player to grab a hat-trick. Mohammad Ismail, unfortunately, missed claiming one. Usman Khan smashed the fastest PSL century off just 47 balls. And that was done to match Multan Sultans gigantic total, after Steve Smith notched up a ton.
Hyderabad Kingsmen eventually won and broke into the top four. Earlier that day, Peshawar Zalmi also defeated Karachi Kings, but at this point, is Zalmi winning even news?
With the two points, Hyderabad have made prospects better for themselves to get the fourth place on the table. There’s still an outside chance for Quetta Gladiators to sneak through, and of course, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars would do anything to milk their odds as well. Karachi’s defeat against Zalmi, though, has made the equation trickier for them.
Multan’s Peter Siddle now has a tally of 12 wickets, after taking three scalps against Hyderabad. He is now the third-highest wicket-taker this season. His countryman and fellow Sultans player Steve Smith has had a similar promotion in the charts.
Smith's century lifted him to a 337-run tally, which is the third highest this season, after Babar Azam (426) and the brilliant Kusal Mendis (493).
