PSL 2026: David Warner dismisses fight rumours with Moeen Ali after viral clip

Karachi Kings captain David Warner debunks rumours of a verbal argument with teammate Moeen Ali after the pair’s clip went viral. The clip was from after their win over Rawalpindiz on Monday, where Warner could be seen walking towards Moeen Ali, with the team’s director, Haider Azhar, stepping in to guide the captain away.
Light-hearted moment
What seemed to be a fight between the two, which was interfered with by the director, has been explained by the Australian opener to be banter. Responding to a tweet which called it a ‘big fight’ in Karachi’s camp, Warner said:
“Calm down, mate. You have zero context. Our manager always wants to shake hands first. Has nothing to do with Mo – it’s called team banter.”
Azhar confirmed his team captain’s response, saying it was just an easy-going moment between the players after their third consecutive win.
“Not true! Both of them were making fun of me!”
Later, David Warner also tweeted, asking fans what they thought he and Moeen Ali were saying during the clip.
Karachi’s PSL 11 journey so far
Karachi are currently at the top of the PSL points table with six points and three wins in as many games. They have a little breather with their next game scheduled to be played on April 9, when they will host Peshawar Zalmi in what will be their fourth group stage game.
