]IPL 2026 Points Table After Gujarat Titans Climbed to 2nd Spot With Win Over Rajasthan Royals

Gujarat Titans (GT) beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 77 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on May 9, 2026. GT had a good opening partnership of 118 between Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. Gill scored 84 while Sudharsan scored 55, helping GT to post 229/4.
Rajasthan Royals couldn’t defend their high score. Rashid Khan performed exceptionally well and claimed four wickets for his team. RR were all out for 152 in 16.3 overs.
This victory pushed Gujarat Titans to the second position in the points table of IPL 2026 with 14 points. RR lost their fourth spot in the points table due to this defeat.
