Delhi Capitals fans can finally cheer as the IPL 2026 retention list is out. Last season, under Axar Patel, the team had a mixed performance. They started well but lost momentum midway and missed out on the playoffs.

Looking at last season, Delhi Capitals have released seven players who didn’t make much impact on the team. After the 2025 mega-auction, the team had a 23-player squad, including seven overseas players.
