]IPL 2026 Auction: SRH’s Most Expensive Player Season-wise (2008–2025)

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction was held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, with 577 players up for signing.
The IPL 2025 Mega Auction countdown is on. The auction will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. As with every other auction, all 10 franchises are likely to spend a refreshing sum on some of the prominent players.
It should be noted that the IPL 2024 auction set new records when Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) acquired Mitchell Starc for ₹24.75 crore. Previously, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) acquired World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins for ₹20.50 crore with the same auction in 2024.
