India vs Australia Highlights, 5th Test Day 2: Rishabh Pant scored an half century with just 29 balls on day 2 of the ending Test match in Sydney, making it the most impressive moment. This amazing play took India's lead to 145 runs, and they still had four wickets to play. By the time the day ended, India's score was 141-6, and both Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar were still staying in not out with 8 and 6 runs respectively. Before, Australia became knocked out for 181 runs, and India obtained a small lead of four runs. Pant obtained a quick half century and made the Australian bowlers struggle. However, Cummins stepped up, stopped Pant's anomalous run and broke up the partnership.

India became worried when their captain, Jasprit Bumrah, had to go get some medical but he came back and looked very calm walking around the field. Even though India was a little confused without him, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj tried harder, taking down three Australian players each, causing Australia to break down.

Beau Webster joined in as well and took out Shubman Gill. Scott Boland was doing extremely well, he took out KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli extremely quickly. Kohli got caught in making a mistake outside the off stump.

Today, India was affected early on because after bowling just one over, Bumrah had to leave with the injury. However, India didn't let that stop them from coming back hard. Even with the pressure on him to keep up the good work done by Bumrah and Siraj, Krishna and krishna took to Steve Smith wicket before lunch. After that, he quickly took Alex Carey and one more player and Australia in a tough spot at 101-5, still 84 runs behind at lunchtime.

Early today, Bumrah and Siraj took advantage of the bouncy field, getting Labuschagne, Konstas, and Head wickets. The ground was really helping them, making the ball bounce unpredictably and move everywhere, which confused the Australian hitters. The Australian team was under pressure all the time because India's bowlers didn't let up.

The pitch had a large amount of bounce. They failed even more now, with their starters getting knocked out quickly, which has been a big problem in this series but not all was because the game actually really favored India's fast bowlers. Bumrah and Siraj, those men clearly demonstrated to Australia what is going on with their extremely strong bowling, cause a big mistake on Australia's part.

India had to win this game and there is a chance to qualify into the World Test Championship final, and Australia was also trying to win back the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The team leaders for India made a courageous call to bench Rohit Sharma, because he wasn't playing well, and gave Bumrah the captaincy again, who actually led them to win in Perth before.

Bumrah coming back was of significant consequence for India because he helped make everyone feel better after they weren't playing that well. With him around, India managed to keep Australia's score very low. Krishna and Siraj also did their part, bowls the ball very nicely. Thanks to them and the effort of the last few batters, India started to get further ahead throughout the day.

Both teams knew there was a lot on the line and the game was getting extremely exciting. India was down a star player but they weren't giving up easily. It was a major question if Bumrah could keep rallying his team and pull off a win but one thing was definitive, the series was going to end in an exciting way.
