India bats with an unchanged lineup, while Nerissa Crafton debuts for the West Indies

by UMMADI JAYA

India won the toss and opted to bat first aiming to seal the three-match ODI series against the West Indies in Vadodara with a win.

India is preparing for the home ODI World Cup next year and they're remaining connected with the same team that did really well last time with a 211-run win. Pratika Rawal gets another chance to show what she can do batting first in the lineup.

The West Indies team swapped out Shabika Gajnabi for Nerissa Crafton a 26-year-old middle-order batter playing her first ODI. This change not only gives the team a new face but also adds another bowler to the group. They are trying to get better at bowling especially after India managed to achieve up 160 runs in the last 20 overs of the first ODI.
