Three exciting matches were played in the T20 World Cup 2026 on Monday, February 9. In the first match, Scotland defeated debutant Italy by 73 runs. Scotland scored a big total of 207/4, and later bowled out Italy for 134 runs to win comfortably.
In the afternoon match, Zimbabwe beat Oman by eight wickets in an easy win. Oman were all out for just 103 runs, with Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, and Brad Evans taking three wickets each. Zimbabwe chased the target easily, with opener Brian Bennett scoring an unbeaten 48.
In the last match, South Africa scored 213/4 against Canada with a strong batting performance. Canada tried to fight back, and Navneet Dhaliwal scored a half-century, but the team could reach only 156/8. South Africa won the match by 57 runs, and Lungi Ngidi was named Player of the Match for taking four wickets.
