On Thursday, November 27, the second WPL mega auction was held in New Delhi. Delhi Capitals came into the auction with the smallest purse of ₹5.70 crore because they had already kept most of their main players.

The team kept Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Annabel Sutherland, Marizanne Kapp, and Niki Prasad before the auction. Delhi Capitals also had 13 empty slots to fill and no RTM options for this auction.
