The CSK CEO, Kasi Viswanathan, said, “It’s a huge loss for CSK, and we’re currently scouting for replacements.” Now, the New Zealand pacer Matt Henry will get a chance to play in the playing 11. He has taken 53 wickets in 43 T20Is.
As far as the Indian players are concerned, Gurjapneet Singh is doing well in the domestic matches and can be a part of the team. The CSK team can also consider other replacement players, namely Gerald Coetzee and Josh Tongue. Nathan Ellis has played 17 IPL matches and taken 19 wickets.
