Complete List of IPL Hat-Tricks(2008-2024)
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a city-based T20 cricket tournament started by the BCCI in 2007. It has grown into the most popular and valuable cricket league in the world. Held every year between March and May, the IPL has its special window in the ICC’s schedule, which helps avoid clashes with international matches.
The IPL has become one of the most valuable sports leagues in the world. Back in 2014, it was the sixth most-watched league in terms of live attendance. In 2010, it made history by becoming the first sports event to be streamed live on YouTube. The 2023 IPL final set a new record as the most-watched live event on the internet, attracting 32 million viewers. The media rights for the 2023–2027 seasons were sold for a massive $6.4 billion, meaning each match is valued at around $13.4 million, according to the Times of India.
