Earlier this month, England were eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2026 after a close semi-final loss to India. In this regard, Brendon McCullum recently confirmed that he is keen to remain in charge.

‘I really enjoy this role. It’s a great job, even if it comes with pressure,’ he said. He further added that the team has achieved some great things in the last few years, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

‘I want to continue and help the team get better. Right now, I just want to go home, relax, and think about what we can do better,’ he further added. McCullum has clearly indicated that he wants to take the team forward and improve them in the future.
