Bangladesh Host West Indies for 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is Ahead of T20 World Cup 2026West Indies will travel to Bangladesh later this year to play a white-ball series. The tour includes three ODIs and three T20 matches. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) shared the update on Tuesday. The ODI games will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The T20 matches will be played in Chattogram at the Bir Shrestho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium, which was earlier known as the Zahur Ahmed Cricket Stadium.

Bangladesh will start their season against West Indies with the first ODI on October 18. The second and third ODIs are set for October 20 and 23. After the ODI series, both teams will move to Chattogram for the T20 matches. The first game will be played on October 27 followed by the next two on October 30 and November 1.

This series is very important for both Bangladesh and West Indies, as it will be their final chance to test team combinations and polish their game plans before the ICC T20 World Cup, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka in February next year.

When we look at the past record, matches between West Indies and Bangladesh have always been quite close. In ODIs, they have faced each other 47 times, West Indies won 24, while Bangladesh took 21 wins, and two games had no result. In T20Is too, it’s almost neck and neck, with West Indies ahead by just one win (9) and Bangladesh right behind with 8, while one match ended without a result.
