"Harshit Rana is a talented bowler, and he has been performing exceptionally well in the Ranji Trophy," Negi stated. "He has just begun his journey and has the potential to play 70-80 Test matches for India." Negi’s confidence is echoed by Gambhir, who sees Rana as a crucial component of India’s bowling attack in the coming years.

Despite initial skepticism from some former players regarding Rana’s selection, given his limited experience with just 10 first-class matches under his belt, Gambhir's decision proved astute. Rana's domestic performances were compelling enough to justify his place in the playing XI, and his impressive debut silenced critics while setting the stage for a promising career.

As India continues its series against Australia, all eyes will be on Rana to see if he can maintain his momentum and fulfill the expectations set by his mentors.
