by Staff Writer

Yorkshire has finalized the signing of Northamptonshire seamer Jack White on a two-year deal by utilizing a contract clause permitting his move to a Division One club.

White, aged 32, made his debut in 2020 and has since excelled, particularly in red-ball cricket with 114 wickets at an average of 25.18.

Expressing his excitement, White stated, "I'm honored to embark on this new journey with Yorkshire. Headingley holds a special place for me, and I am eager to contribute towards the club's success."

Gavin Hamilton, Yorkshire's cricket general manager, praised White's commitment, emphasizing his value to the team's bowling attack and positive influence in the dressing room.

Northamptonshire expressed disappointment at losing White, who was contracted until the end of the 2025 season.
