Yashasvi Jaiswal Set for Mumbai’s Ranji Semifinal Against Vidarbha, Suryakumar Yadav Doubtful

The star Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was Snubbed from India’s ICC Champions Trophy squad as a non-traveling reserve. Now, Jaiswal will play for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy semifinal against Vidarbha.
In the recent Ranji Trophy quarter-finals, the Mumbai team dominated Haryana with a 153-run win at the Eden Gardens. With this Mumbai confirmed their spot in the semi-finals. The Ranji Trophy 2024-25 semifinal will be held in Nagpur on February 17-21.
Mumbai Cricket Association secretary told TOI."Today morning, Jaiswal confirmed to me that he's available for the Ranji Trophy semifinal against Vidarbha. I have accordingly informed the selectors about the same,"
Jaiswal’s inclusion gives Mumbai a significant advantage in their batting lineup, but there's a concern for the defending champions. The star Indian T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav may miss the match due to a wrist injury.

"The MCA's medical team is awaiting the results of his wrist's MRI scan," he said.
Jaiswal has officially rejoined the Mumbai squad. Jaiswal played one match for Mumbai this season, but he managed to score only 4 runs in the first innings and 26 runs in the second innings against Jammu & Kashmir at MCA.
