Women's T20 World Cup: Updated points table after triple-header on Tuesday

Pakistan Women lost their fourth straight game after Australia clobbered them in a high-scoring contest. The game, which was the third of the penultimate triple-header of the competition, saw Australia keep their unbeaten streak alive.

The day started with New Zealand taking on Scotland in Bristol, where the Kiwis fought for their survival. New Zealand edged past Scotland to knock them out. Scotland failed to win a single game after they announced themselves with a win over Ireland in their opening game.

Ireland, who are yet to get off the mark, were thrashed by Sri Lanka in the second game of the day. An unbeaten Chamari Athapaththu century was enough to get Sri Lanka over Ireland’s modest 134-run total.

So far, four teams, including Pakistan, Netherlands, Ireland, and Scotland, have been eliminated from the competition.
