West Africa Trophy 2025: Full Schedule, Teams, Squads and Live Streaming & TV Telecast Details
The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) will host the men’s national teams of Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Zambia for the second edition of the West Africa Trophy, an ICC ranking event scheduled from December 4 to 14, 2025, at the NCF Oval in Abuja. This edition also marks Zambia’s official return to international cricket following their reinstatement as an ICC Associate Member at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. Although they previously took part in an International Quadrangular Tournament in Kenya in June–July 2024, those matches were not granted official status. The West Africa Trophy will be their first appearance in recognized T20I cricket.
Nigeria enter the tournament as the Defending Champions, having won the inaugural West Africa Trophy in October 2023 with a victory over Rwanda in the final. Rwanda and Sierra Leone return as regular participants, while Zambia replace Ghana from the first edition. All four teams will compete in a triple round-robin league, and the top two sides on the points table will move on to the final. The third and fourth-placed teams will contest the 3rd/4th place playoff.
