Virat Kohli may join county cricket to gear up for the England Test series: Report
If the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) don't make it to the IPL playoffs, Virat Kohli will go to England. Kohli's planning to play county cricket there to prepare for the test series against England but everything depends on how RCB does in the Indian Premier League, According to a report by Revsportz.
A former Indian cricket players have been saying Kohli needs to start playing in domestic cricket matches, if he wants to play better especially for the long games. Even Gautam Gambhir, the team's head coach, thinks Kohli and Rohit Sharma should really focus on domestic cricket to get over their rough patch in Test matches.
If RCB gets to the IPL final on May 25, Kohli will only have about 14 days to play in the county cricket before the five game test series with England starts.
Kohli knows it's hard to get ready to play England's swing conditions. He's struggled in his last few test matches in England. If he doesn't prepare properly, he might face the same problems in the next series.
