Virat Kohli and RCB Asked to Compete Against Indian Hockey Team in Fitness Battle

Indian hockey team star Manpreet Singh has challenged Virat Kohli and the entire Royal Challengers Bengaluru team to join the hockey squad for a training session and see which team is fitter.
Kohli is known as one of the fittest cricketers in India and has always performed very well in the Yo-Yo fitness test. Now, Manpreet has given him and RCB a new fitness challenge.
In a conversation with RevSportz, Manpreet Singh invited Virat Kohli and his Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammates to take part in a training session with the Indian hockey team and battle it out to see which side is fitter.

While the benchmark set by the BCCI for a Yo-Yo test is 16.5, the hockey team star revealed that the hockey team has higher standards and requirements, with the goalkeeper expected to clock at least a score of 21 while the rest of the players usually go way beyond that score. Now, just days after Kohli spoke about how the fitness demands of the hockey team is more than the cricket team, Manpreet has responded to that statement.
“Obviously. We want to invite Virat and the entire RCB team to come and do a training session with us. We will compete against each other“, Manpreet
“Cricket is in such prime focus in our country that we often overlook other sports. If I am being honest, we aren’t even 15% of the fitness of an Indian hockey player. If the hockey players watch our training sessions, they would laugh because their sport demands far more,” Kohli said during an interview.
