VHT 2025-26: Angkrish Raghuvanshi Suffers Scary On-Field Head Injury, Rushed for Medical Checks

Angkrish Raghuvanshi suffered a serious head injury during the Mumbai vs Uttarakhand match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, one of the worst moments for the team. According to the Reports, Angkrish Raghuvanshi was attempting the catch at deep mid-wicket when he landed on his head.

He missed the ball and was in serious pain. The game was stopped immediately, but the stretcher and ambulance took a little more time than expected to arrive. Meanwhile, Angkrish was struggling to move his head and neck an immediate cause of concern.

He was then stretchered off the field and rushed to the hospital for CT scans. Thankfully, this injury turned out to be a concussion. The 21-year-old was kept under watch for a few hours before being discharged by the doctors.

For the time being, it is not certain if Angkrish will be playing Mumbai's third-round game against Chhattisgarh on December 29. Even if Angkrish's participation is cleared, the team management may well still keep him out of the playing eleven as a precautionary measure.
